Description:

The purpose of this scholarship is to support undergraduate women who are studying for a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BE(Hons)) degree in the School of Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

The prize provides the following:
a. assistance with tuition fees up to a value of $5,000.

Applicable enrolment during tenure: 
Applicants must be enrolled in a Professional Year of any programme for a BE(Hons) degree. Preference is given to those who are enrolled in at least one of the courses specifically required for a minor in Power Engineering for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering specialisation.

Citizenship/residency requirements: 
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.

Special Requirements: Applicants must be female.
