The purpose of this scholarship is to support students in courses in the field of Building Services in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BE(Hons)) in Mechanical Engineering degree programme at the University of Canterbury.

Value/Benefits: Financial assistance with the costs associated with university study, to a value of $2,000

Level of Study: Undergraduate

Closing Date: Application not required

Tenure: One year

Number Available Annually: Three

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: Must be enrolled full-time in approved courses in the field of building services in the Third Professional Year of a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BE(Hons)) in Mechanical Engineering degree programme at the University of Canterbury

Application Information:

This scholarship does not require an application. It will be awarded by the Council of the University on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising:
  1. the Dean of Engineering and Forestry (or nominee);
  2. the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (or nominee); and
  3. a representative of the academic staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, preferably a staff member who has a particular interest in the field of building services.
