The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and promote undergraduate study in the area of agricultural engineering.

Level of Study: Undergraduate

Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 31 March (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date)

Tenure: One year

Number Available Annually: Up to three

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment at the University of Canterbury in the final year of study in a programme for a Bachelor's degree or a Bachelor's degree with Honours that includes at least one course in agricultural engineering

Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Must have been born in New Zealand

Special Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must:
  1. have been born in New Zealand; and
  2. by the closing date for applications, applicants will be enrolled at the University of Canterbury in the final year of study in a programme for a Bachelor's degree or a Bachelor's degree with Honours that includes at least one course in agricultural engineering.

A student may also receive the scholarship notwithstanding that, for the time being, he/she may be engaged in the study of, or research in, agricultural engineering at another university or agricultural institution, whether extra-murally or intra-murally.
