Brief Description:

This scholarship is designed to enhance Pacific achievement in the context of the UC Pacific Strategy 2024-2030, specifically increasing Pacific student recruitment, retention and completion. This seeks to support Pacific students undertaking Pacific Studies at UC.

Value/Benefits: Up to $8,000 towards tuition fees

Level of Study: Undergraduate and Postgraduate

Closing Date: 31 October

Tenure: One year

Number Available Annually: 5

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The first year of full-time study in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme with a minor in Pacific Studies at UC.


Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Applicants must be Pacific and be either New Zealand citizens or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.
