Canterbury Scholarship
Award Amount
The scholarship confers recognition of exceptional achievement, but it provides no additional financial value beyond that of the co-tenured scholarship.

Brief Description:

The purpose of this scholarship is to inspire and recognise academic excellence in students of the highest calibre undertaking PhD research at the University of Canterbury.

Top-ranked eligible candidates who have been selected for a 'UC Doctoral Scholarship' are automatically considered for the Canterbury Scholarship. No application is required.

Closing Date: Application not required

Tenure: Three years

Number Available Annually: Unlimited

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: Must be enrolled full-time or part-time in a research doctoral degree programme at the University of Canterbury

Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Must be a citizen of New Zealand, or hold a New Zealand residence class visa
