Brief Description:

This scholarship recognises and supports high-ranked students in a programme for a research doctoral degree in Te Kaupeka Pūtaiao | Faculty of Science. It is offered to the single highest-ranked recipient of a 'UC Doctoral Scholarship' who has not been awarded another UC Prestige Doctoral Scholarship and who is studying in Te Kaupeka Pūtaiao | Faculty of Science. Top-ranked candidates who have been selected for a 'UC Doctoral Scholarship' are automatically considered for the Roper Scholarship; no application is required.

Value/Benefits:
a. Financial assistance at a value of $5,000 per 120 points of enrolment.

Tenure: The scholarship is tenable for the period necessary to complete up to 360 points of enrolment.
