$32,000 in tuition fees, plus leadership courses and mentoring

Description:


The scholarship supports students to transform their vision into reality and improve the lives of people, and the businesses, organisations and communities of the Canterbury region and Aotearoa NZ through their aspirational leadership. The scholarship programme has been developed to accelerate personal and professional development, and empowers scholars to seek ambitious and positive impact, and achieve tangible outcomes, including obtaining an MBA qualification from Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury.

Value/Benefits: 

The scholarship provides up to $40,000 of value, comprising the following:
a.Tuition fees contribution of $32,000 for 180 points of enrolment for full-time or part-time study.1
b.The opportunity to participate in, during the first two calendar years of tenure of the scholarship, an Outward Bound2 leadership course, with the course fee paid by the scholarship.
c.The opportunity to participate in a bespoke leadership skills programme during the first two calendar years of tenure of the scholarship (with the course fees paid by the scholarship) provided in conjunction with Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School.6
d.The opportunity to participate in leadership mentoring.

Level of Study during Tenure:  Master's

Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 9 October (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date.)

Tenure: Up to 180 points of enrolment.

Number Available Annually: Three

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: MBA programme

Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Applicants must be citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.
