Brief Description:

This scholarship supports research by students studying at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury for a Master of Civil Engineering (MCivilEng) or PhD degree in Civil Engineering.

Value/Benefits: Up to $8.000

Level of Study: Master's; Doctoral

Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 31 October (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date.)

Tenure: Up to 120 points for a Master’s student or up to 360 points for a PhD student

Number Available Annually: One. There can only be one holder of this scholarship at any time.

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: Full-time enrolment in a Master of Civil Engineering (MCivilEng) or PhD degree in the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury.

Special Requirements: All other things being equal, preference will be given to people wishing to undertake study in water infrastructure/engineering.
