The purpose of this scholarship is to support study towards a Master's degree at the University of Canterbury for students engaged in research related to the energy field.

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure:
Enrolment in one of the following:
a programme for a Master's degree that includes a thesis, dissertation, or research project with a credit weighting of at least 90 points, relating to the energy field in the broadest sense; or
a programme for a Master of Engineering Studies (MEngSt) degree in Renewable Energy, that includes a 30-point research project

Special Eligibility Requirements:
Recipients will be required to meet with Orion New Zealand Limited to discuss their project soon after they have commenced their research, and to make a presentation to the company at the completion of their research.
