Brief Description:

The purpose of this prize is to acknowledge students graduating from the University of Canterbury who were formerly pupils of Christchurch Girls’ High School.

Value/Benefits: The prize is a monetary award at a value determined by funds available and outlined in the offer of the award. The prize is made in conjunction with the awarding of the right to wear the Joan Prisk gown at their graduation cerebration, in recognition of the former Principal of Christchurch Girls’ High School | Te Kura o Hine Waiora.

This prize does not require an application. It will be awarded each year to the student selected by the Principal of Christchurch Girls' High School to wear the Joan Prisk gown at a graduation ceremony in April.
