AECOM Civil Natural Resources Engineering Scholarship
Award Amount
$5,000, and a possible offer of summer paid employment

Brief Description:

This scholarship will not be offered in 2026



This scholarship assists and encourages Civil Engineering students from the University of Canterbury to undertake a career in Civil Engineering or Natural Resources Engineering.

Value/Benefits:
a. Financial assistance at a value of $5,000
b. Provided a suitable position is available, AECOM may offer the recipient paid employment during the summer at the end of the year of tenure.

Level of Study: Undergraduate

Closing Date: 31 May

Tenure: One year

Number available annually: One

Applicable enrolment during tenure: Full-time enrolment in Second Year or Third Year of a programme for a BE(Hons) in Civil or Natural Resources Engineering.

Citizenship/residency requirements: Applicants must be citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.

Application Information:

Following the initial application process, and eligibility checks, the University representatives will recommend a ranked list of candidates to the AECOM representative, who will determine the final interview selection after taking into account University recommendations. The scholarship recommendation will be determined by the Selection Committee, following interviews conducted by the committee.
