Must be a citizen of Aotearoa New Zealand

Must have a disability that would qualify you to be registered with the University of Canterbury Student Accessibility Service

academic achievement; and
the applicant's assessment of how the scholarship will benefit them.

be a citizen of New Zealand
have a disability that would qualify them to be registered with the University of Canterbury
Student Accessibility Service
Preference is given to applicants whose last year of secondary education was in
North Canterbury
Additional Information:
Belfast Rotary Disability Trust donated funds to the University in their 25th anniversary year to support students with disabilities. In 2017, the Rotary Club of Belfast–Kaiapoi’s 50th anniversary year, the fund was worth $83,000. The club established the scholarship in 2020, for awards to be made in perpetuity.
