The scholarship supports graduates of a University of Canterbury programme in Journalism to travel overseas to pursue enquiries and conduct research into news media and other like means of public communication.

Value/Benefits: Financial assistance at a value of $15,000.

Level of Study: UC Graduates

Closing Date: 11:59pm (NZT) 01 November (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date)

Tenure: One year

Number available annually: At least one

Applicable enrolment during tenure: Open to applicants who have completed a qualification in Journalism from the University of Canterbury and have at least three years of professional experience in journalism and must be working as journalists.

Citizenship/residency requirements: There are no citizenship or resident requirements for this scholarship.
