Application Information:

This prize does not require an application. It will be awarded by the Council of the University on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, in consultation with the Departmental Scholarships Committee.


Special Eligibility Requirements:

Recipients must be female.


Additional Information:

The Helen Wily Prize was established in 2010 by the New Zealand Federation of Graduate Women (Canterbury Branch Trust Board) in memory of Helen Wily and to recognize a woman studying in the mathematical sciences.

At the discretion of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, two students may share the prize.
