Brief Description:



The scholarship supports ākonga Māori (Māori students) in the MAud programme at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury.

Level of Study during Tenure:  Postgraduate; Master's

Closing Date:None, an application for admission to the Maud programme is normally considered an application for these scholarships.

Tenure: Up to 120 points of enrolment

Number Available Annually: One

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: First year of a programme for an MAud degree

Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Not applicable

Special Requirements: Applicants must have whakapapa Māori.

Additional Information:

The New Zealand Audiological Society  established the scholarship in 2022. The New Zealand Audiological Society is the self-regulatory professional membership association for audiologists and audiometrists working in Aotearoa New Zealand. As a self-regulatory body, it sets professional standards of practice, best practice guidelines, and a code of ethics for members working in clinical, educational, and wider sector roles. Members are required to complete a certificate of clinical competency and maintain their annual practicing certificate through ongoing professional development.
