Westpac Southland Scholarship
Award Amount
$1,000 per annum

Description:

This scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of merit to any student who has completed at least one academic year at the University of Canterbury and whose earlier youth was spent substantially in Southland and whose parents, or guardian, are resident in Southland at the time of the award.

The scholarship provides the following:
a. financial assistance at a value of $1,000.

Level of Study: Undergraduate, Postgraduate

Closing Date: 31 March

Tenure: Two years

Number available annually:
One

Applicable enrolment during tenure: 
Open to students who has completed at least one academic year at the University of Canterbury and whose earlier youth was spent substantially in Southland and whose parents, or guardian, are resident in Southland at the time of the award.

Citizenship/residency requirements:
There are no citizenship or resident requirements for this scholarship.
