This scholarship recognises and supports high-achieving 200-, 300-, and 400-level students majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Computational and Applied Mathematical Sciences, Data Science, Applied Data Science or Financial Engineering at the University of Canterbury. The then University of Canterbury Department of Mathematics and Statistics established the scholarship in 2013.
