Description:

The scholarship supports students for study towards a research doctoral degree at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury in association with the CWRI.

Value/Benefits:
a. NZ$30,000 per 120 points of thesis enrolment.
b. Tuition fees for thesis enrolment only, at the Aotearoa New Zealand domestic rate.
c. The opportunity to participate in the Child Well-being Research Doctoral Support Programme

Level of Study: Doctoral 

Closing Date: 13 April (Awarded via nomination only)

Tenure: The scholarships are tenable for the period necessary to complete up to 360 points of enrolment.

Number Available Annually: Determined annually.

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: Full- or part-time enrolment in PhD programmes at University of Canterbury in conjunction with the Child Well-being Research Institute (CWRI).

Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Not applicable

Special Requirements: Recipients must be undertaking a doctoral research project in association with CWRI.

Special Eligibility Requirements:

Recipients must have been awarded one of the doctoral positions advertised by the CWRI.

Recipients may not already hold a research doctoral degree.
