Description:

This scholarship supports undergraduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury, particularly those who are studying in the field of communications engineering and who share Steven Bly's interest in the “great outdoors”.

Value/Benefits:
a. financial assistance at a value of $1,500 and;
b. provided suitable positions are available, Tait Communications may offer scholarship holders paid employment during the summer vacation following the tenure of the award.

Applicable enrolment during tenure: 
Open to full-time students who are enrolled for the Second or Third Professional Year for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

Citizenship/residency requirements:
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or holders of New Zealand residence class visas.
