Go Canterbury Scholarship - 2018

$5,000.00

Description:

The scholarship provides the following:

a. Assistance with fees for fully catered accommodation at Campus Living Villages NZ’s University Hall,1 to a value of $5,000, and priority consideration for a place at University Hall.

b. Opportunities to attend, at no cost, educational outdoor recreational field trips in the Canterbury region.

c. Opportunities to attend, at no cost, a New Zealand Red Cross first aid course and a range of workshops and seminars for personal, career, and professional development.

d. Opportunities to experience and contribute to the Christchurch rebuild, and to engage with the Christchurch community and project leaders, either through membership of the Student Volunteer Army or through enrolment, at no cost, in selected University courses related to community engagement.

Special Eligibility Requirements:

The scholarship is not co-tenable with the UC Emerging Leader’s Scholarship, the UC Dux Scholarship, or the UC Community Award. It is co-tenable with any other award, unless the conditions of the other award preclude it.

Additional Information:

The value of the scholarship will be credited towards a recipient's University Hall’s fees account on confirmation of his or her full-time, full-year enrolment at the University.
