This scholarship supports students of high academic achievement who have a significant disability, for study towards a research doctoral degree at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury. Applications must be made on the '

Applicants must have a disability that significantly impairs their ability to study. Applicants must submit evidence regarding the degree of disability and the extent to which it impairs their ability to study.
Selection is based equally on the following:
(a) the degree of severity of the disability and the extent to which it impairs the applicant's ability to carry out his or her course of study; and
(b) (1) Research capability of the candidate; (2) Project quality; (3) Project fit with institutional strategic priorities; and (4) Recommendation of the Department/School (or delegate).
